DEMO OBJECTIVE

Introduce shoppers to Texas Green Sauce by offering samples with tortilla chips, highlighting the sauce’s unique flavor, versatility, and multiple everyday uses. Encourage trial and purchase by helping shoppers understand how Texas Green Sauce can be used as a dip, mixer, topper, or ingredient in a wide variety of meals.

Texas Green Sauce blends well with sour cream, queso, hummus, and ranch dressing. PRE-DEMO PREPARATION

Review all demo instructions before arriving at the store.
Make sure all demo supplies are packed and ready to bring with you.
Confirm you have enough sampling supplies for the full demo.

ARRIVAL & STORE CHECK-IN

Arrive at the store on time and check in with store management.
Let them know you are there to conduct a product demo for Texas Green Sauce.
Confirm your demo station location. If possible, set up near the product.
Take a selfie in-store and text it to Karen & Lexi.

PRODUCT VERIFICATION & PURCHASE (REQUIRED)

Locate the Texas Green Sauce products on the shelf.
Verify all available flavors listed for the demo.
Pick up curbside or purchase 1 jar of each flavor and 1 bag of tortilla chips on Divvy Card/BGC Account.
Save the receipt and follow your normal reporting process for receipt submission.

DEMO SET UP

Set up your demo table in the approved location.
Cover the table with a clean tablecloth.
Arrange products neatly on the table for display.
Display at least 6 jars of each flavor on table for guests to take.
Get 3 spoons from food service to use for sampling.
Keep the sampling area clean, neat, and well stocked throughout the demo.
Take a picture of the completed demo station.
Count opening inventory.

SAMPLING PROCEDURE

Greet shoppers as they approach the table.
Invite them to sample Texas Green Sauce with tortilla chips.
Ask which flavor they would like to try first, if multiple flavors are available.
Place a chip in cup and spoon desired flavor over chip and place in front of demo station for guest to pick up.
While guests sample, share key selling points about the product’s uniqueness and versatility.
Encourage guests to try more than one flavor when possible.
Ask for feedback and which flavor they prefer.
Encourage purchase while they are near the product location.

CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT & CONVERSATION IDEAS

When guests approach, you can say:

CLEAN UP & WRAP UP

Shut down the demo station at the end of the event.
Pack up all supplies you brought from home.
Count ending inventory.
Take a final photo if needed for reporting.
If any additional jars or chips were used during sampling other than what was purchased at check in, purchase using BGC Account/Divvy Card. If no additional product was used, have Manager sign Clock Out Form (electronic version available).
Complete the demo report and upload all pictures and receipts.
