DEMO INSTRUCTIONS – GORILLA ENERGY

DEMO OBJECTIVE 

Introduce shoppers to Gorilla Energy and encourage trial and purchase by offering chilled samples of all three featured flavors. Highlight Gorilla Energy’s bold taste, clean ingredient profile, and smooth energy from natural caffeine.

BRAND / PRODUCT OVERVIEW 

Gorilla Energy is a next-generation energy drink made with real ingredients and bold flavor. All varieties contain 200 mg of natural caffeine, natural vitamins, and are made with no artificial flavors or colors and no added sugar.

L-theanine (pronounced: luh-THEE-uh-neen) is a naturally occurring amino acid found in tea leaves. It helps promote a calm, focused feeling and works with caffeine to provide smooth, sustained energy without the jitters or crash.

• Mango Coconut: Tropical mango paired with coconut for a smooth, refreshing flavor that is light and energizing. Contains 18% juice, 200 mg natural caffeine, is balanced with L-theanine, and has no artificial flavors or colors. 

• Watermelon Melon: Sweet watermelon and refreshing cantaloupe combine for a vibrant, full-bodied flavor. Contains 22% juice, 200 mg natural caffeine, is balanced with L-theanine, and has no artificial flavors or colors. 

• All flavors contain natural vitamins, no added sugar, and provide smooth energy with L-theanine

DEMO SUPPLIES NEEDED 

For DFW Stores, supplies are available in the demo supply area – all other locations, bring from home: 

• Table 

• Gloves 

• Portion cups 

• Ice bucket

PRE-DEMO PREPARATION 

- Review all demo instructions before arriving at the store 

​

ARRIVAL & STORE CHECK-IN 

• Arrive on time and check in with the Store Manager 

• Let the Manager know you are there to conduct the Gorilla Energy demo 

• Take a selfie in-store and text it to Karen & Lexi

PRODUCT VERIFICATION & PURCHASE (REQUIRED) 

• Get 1 can of Gorilla Energy Ultimate for product verification 

• Take the can to the Front Service Desk and charge it to the Divvy Card 

• Upload a picture of the receipt to the Bill Spend & Expense app

DEMO SET UP 

• Immediately start chilling at least 2 cans of each flavor in ice, a dairy cooler, or another refrigerated area of the store. Check all cold cases as product may already be chilled. 

• Get 2 non-breakable floral arrangements from the Floral Department and place them on your table 

• Set up as close to the product as possible. If you are not set up near product, call Karen 

• Place your ice bucket on the table for open product being sampled 

• Display all flavors of Gorilla Energy on the table for guests to take (Recommend at least 8 of each) 

• Display the Allergen Sign for guest safety 

• Keep any open cans being sampled on bagged ice on the demo table

SAMPLING PROCEDURE 

• Serve all three flavors throughout the demo 

• Greet each guest and invite them to sample Gorilla Energy 

• Briefly describe each flavor and ask which one they would like to try first 

• Share selling points while pouring the sample into a portion cup, filling it about halfway 

• Ask for feedback after the guest samples 

• Ask guest if they would like to try another flavor, repeating the process. Ask guest which one is their favorite 

• If guest enjoys the product, encourage them to purchase

CLEAN UP & WRAP UP 

• Take all additional product used during the demo, except the original check-in item, to the Front Service Desk and purchase it on the Divvy Card 

• Upload a picture of the receipt to the Bill Spend & Expense app 

• Save the receipt to upload with your demo report 

• Clean your demo area 

• Complete the demo report
