DEMO OBJECTIVE

Introduce shoppers to AKINA premium wellness teas and educate them on the functional benefits of each flavor. Drive product trial, increase brand awareness, and encourage in-store purchase.

 

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

AKINA Tea blends high-quality ingredients with wellness benefits designed to support digestion, immunity, relaxation, hydration, and overall well-being.

• Cinnamon Tea

• Ginger Tea

• Peach Tea

• Soursop Tea

(Refer to sell sheets for benefit details and talking points.)

 

WHAT TO BRING FROM HOME

• Apron (no logos)

• Hat or hair covering (no logos)

• Name badge

• Valid Food Handler’s Card

• Smartphone (for photos/reporting only)

• Clock In / Clock Out Form

• Tea Kettle

Dress Code (Central Market Standard)

• Long black pants (no holes)

• Black or white collared shirt or sweater (no hoodies)

• Closed-toe shoes

• No jewelry/headphones

 

ARRIVAL & STORE CHECK-IN

• Check in at the Information Desk.

• Inform them you are sampling AKINA Tea.

• The Foodie will take you to your demo station.

• Clock-In Requirement: Have the Foodie sign your Clock In Form (online version available upon request).

• Required Photo: Take a selfie in-store and text to Karen & Lexi.

 

DEMO SETUP

• Set up table neatly with product display.

• Ask the Foodie where you may access water for brewing.

• Count opening inventory of each flavor.

• Record shelf price (and sale price if applicable).

• Take a full demo setup photo.

Food Safety

• Wash hands in designated hand wash sink.

• Wash, rinse, sanitize any equipment used.

• Wear gloves while serving.

 

SAMPLING PROCEDURE

• Rotate through all flavors, brewing one flavor at a time.

• For a full tea kettle, use 4 tea bags.

• Steep for 5 minutes.

• Ask the Foodie where you may access water for brewing.

• Use additional tea bags, if needed.

• Sample Size: 2 oz cups.

• Prepare fresh tea as needed throughout the demo.

• Parent/Guardian must approve samples for children.

BREAK PROCESS

• If a bathroom break is needed, shut down the station and remove samples (no samples left unattended).

• Properly store product while away from the table.

• Contact Karen if you have questions regarding product storage.

 

CLEANUP & WRAP-UP

• Stop serving with enough time to clean up your demo station (typically 10 minutes).

• Dispose of trash properly.

• Return unopened display product to shelf.

• Count closing inventory.

• Clean and sanitize demo station.

• Clock-Out Requirement: Have the Foodie sign your Clock Out Form.
