Demo Objective

Introduce guests to two better-for-you brands in the Living Well Department by offering samples, educating shoppers on the products' unique benefits, and encouraging purchase.

TRUBAR creates indulgent dessert-inspired protein bars made with clean, plant-based ingredients.

Each bar delivers 12g of plant protein and 12g of fiber while remaining vegan, gluten free, dairy free, non-GMO, seed oil free and free of sugar alcohols.

Other Mother is a family-owned company in Fredericksburg, Texas, crafting raw red wine vinegar shrubs since 2017.

Their shrub shots provide a smoother alternative to traditional apple cider vinegar wellness shots and can be enjoyed straight, mixed into beverages, or incorporated into recipes.

Demo Supplies (Bring From Home)

DFW Stores will have disposable & equipment in supply area

• Apron & hat

• Table & tablecloth

• Ice bucket

• Knife & cutting board

• Portion cups

• Beverage napkins

• Gloves

 

Pre-Demo Preparation

• Review product information and videos.

• Bring sufficient demo supplies.

• Plan to display 6–8 TRUBARs of each flavor.

• Keep Shrub Shots chilled immediately after check-in.

• Technically they are shelf stable, so if store approves – display some for sale in your ice bucket (if you are not set up near product).

 

Store Arrival & Check-In

• Check in with Store Manager or Person in Charge.

• Purchase one shelf-stable TRUBAR on the Divvy card for check-in verification.

• Upload receipt to Bill Spend & Expense app and save to upload to demo report.

• Gather demo supplies.

• Take shelf selfie (text to Karen & Lexi), shelf photo, and demo station photo.

 

Demo Set Up

• Set up near the Living Well Department whenever possible.

• Display allergen sign.

• Count opening inventory.

• If not adjacent to product, merchandise Shrub Shots in an ice bucket.

 

Sampling Procedure

• Ask guests whether they would like to try a TRUBAR, an Other Mother Shrub Shot, or both.

• Cut each TRUBAR into approximately 8 bite-size samples.

• Pour approximately 1/3 oz of each Shrub Shot into a portion cup (about 6 samples per bottle).

• Wait until pouring for a guest to serve because you want to swirl the product in the bottle before pouring.

• Explain that the company recommends 1–2 oz daily at home, but today's sample is smaller so more guests can try it.

• Share that Other Mother can be enjoyed straight, mixed into beverages, or used in recipes.

• Share TRUBAR selling points, letting guests know about other flavors available that you are not sampling today.

• Offer additional flavors and encourage purchase.

 

Clean Up & Wrap Up

• Count closing inventory.

• Purchase all opened product at checkout (except one TRUBAR you used for check in) using the Divvy card.

• Upload receipt to Bill Spend & Expense.

• Upload shelf and demo station photos with report.

• Complete Demo Report.
