DEMO OBJECTIVE

Showcase The United Family Own Brands by preparing a fresh, fruity Strawberry Shortcake Dip served in individual cups. Highlight the quality of O Organics, Lucerne, and Signature Select products while encouraging multi‑item basket purchases and inspiring guests with an easy dessert idea for spring and summer gatherings.

PRODUCT VERIFICATION & PURCHASE (REQUIRED)

Retrieve 1 Lucerne Cream Cheese from shelf (UPC: 00021130043798).
Take a selfie in‑store with the cream cheese and text to Karen & Lexi. (DO NOT UPLOAD SELFIE TO THE REPORT – Text to Karen & Lexi when you take the picture).
Take a picture of the shelf to upload to demo report.
Take the product to a register and charge to Divvy Card.
Text photo of receipt to Karen & Lexi.
Upload receipt to Bill Spend & Expense app.
Save receipt for demo report upload.

Note: All additional product opened must be purchased at end of demo using Divvy Card and receipt submitted with report.

WHAT TO BRING FROM HOME

All demo supplies must be brought from home except DFW store locations, which will have equipment & disposable demo supplies in the demo supply area.

Smartphone (photos & reporting only)

ARRIVAL & STORE CHECK‑IN

Check in with Store Manager or Manager on Duty.

Inform them you are sampling a United Own Brands recipe (Strawberry Shortcake Dip Cups).

Confirm demo location.

Locate ingredients in‑store (produce, dairy, baking, cookies/crackers).

DEMO SETUP

Cover table fully with tablecloth.

Display ONLY shelf‑stable items on table: powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon graham crackers.

Do NOT display refrigerated items (cream cheese, whipped topping) on table.

Once refrigerated items are opened, open packaging neatly and display empty packaging on table.

Display Allergen Sign.

Organize cups, napkins, utensils and trash neatly.

Take photo of completed demo setup with you behind the table.

Wash hands thoroughly in the designated hand wash sink.

Put on gloves.

Opening Inventory Count: Record opening inventory of featured items as required.

ICE REQUIREMENTS

If a product must remain cold, it must be placed on bagged ice per The United Family Food Safety Director.

You may obtain bagged ice by:

Asking the Market Department,

Filling produce bags from the store ice machine, or

Purchase a bag of ice using the Divvy Card

Place opened refrigerated product on bagged ice.

FOOD SAFETY REQUIREMENT

Keep bowl placed over bagged ice at all times.
Record date/time any product is removed from refrigeration on the packaging or a log.

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS – STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE DIP CUPS

Wash strawberries in the designated produce sink. Ask a produce team member which sink to use.
Return to demo table & finely dice O Organics Strawberries.
In mixing bowl, add:
1 8 oz of Whipped Lucerne Cream Cheese (4 portion cups)
1 tub 8 oz Lucerne Whipped Topping
½ cup or 2 portion cups of Signature Select Powdered Sugar (adjust to taste) only add 1 portion cup at a time to allow even mixing
1 tsp or 1 capful Signature Select Pure Vanilla Extract
Mix until smooth, creamy, and fully combined.
Crush Signature Select Cinnamon Graham Crackers into small crumbs.
Place in ziplock bag & break it up with gloved hands as best as possible.
Assemble cups as guests approach the table:
In a portion cup, add 1 spoonful of dip.
Sprinkle with crushed graham crackers.
Top with a few fresh strawberry pieces.
Keep dip chilled on ice throughout the demo.

SAMPLING PROCEDURE

Spoon dip into 2 oz portion cups.

Add a sprinkle of graham crumbs or a small piece of graham cracker on top.

Place portion cups at the front of the demo station for guests to pick up.

CLEANUP & WRAP‑UP

Dispose of trash properly.

Clean and sanitize demo area and equipment.

Closing Inventory Count: Record ending inventory of featured items.

Purchase Requirement: Purchase any opened product (except the item you purchased at beginning of demo) at end of demo using the Divvy Card. Save receipt for upload.

REPORTING REQUIREMENTS

· Submit demo report per Four Star procedures.

· Submit sales and closing inventory counts.

· Upload table picture, shelf picture & receipts. Do not upload your selfie to the report.
